Beats and Ableton

So, the topic is about mashing beats? Well I first successfully made a simple beat in soundtrap and importing one of the audio from Royals by Lorde. Everything seemed to run quite smoothly until I downloaded Ableton Live…. there are SO MANY BUTTONS.

Here is a few seconds of beats I made on sound trap, unfortunately I couldn’t get Ableton to play a sound…
I would choose soundtrap over Ableton if I was teaching this topic as its much more simpler to use, I understand that with Ableton Live, we could achieve much more, however in an education classroom, I do feel that Ableton may be too complicate.
